About Finn Ware

Located in historic Astoria, Oregon, Finn Ware has provided quality Nordic products since 1987. We carry a large variety of Finnish and Scandinavian products including Iittala, Marimekko, Ekelund, Fazer, Marabou, Christmas all year round, Sauna, Sisu, Uff Da and much more.

Finn Ware opened in 1987 joining other Scandinavian gift stores and bakeries.  Though the others have since closed, Finn Ware continues to provide quality Nordic gifts and is an Astoria institution. 

We invite everyone to experience Finn Ware where you will find quality, unique items and piece of Astoria history.

Our satellite store, Nordic Finn Ware, opened in 2018 at Nordia House in Portland.

About Astoria

Founded by John Jacob Astor in 1811 as a fur trading post, Astoria is the oldest American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains. Astoria is where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean at the western most end of the Lewis and Clark Trail.

Drawn by the similar geography, fishing and logging Nordic immigrants started arriving in the mid-1800’s. Finns were the largest group and Astoria had the largest Finnish population west of the Mississippi River.  

Astoria continues to celebrate its strong Nordic ties with the annual Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival held in June.
